LGBTQ+ Wedding Photography in the Hudson Valley & Catskills

Eric and Mark chose Roxbury Barn and Estate in Roxbury, NY for their wedding celebration — and it was the perfect choice. Tucked into the Catskill Mountains, this warm, rustic-modern venue gave their day exactly the right energy: relaxed, joyful, and completely their own. From the vows to the reception, every moment carried the particular kind of happiness that comes when people stop performing for a camera and just live their day.

That's what I'm here to capture!

I'm Kimberly Coccagnia, a documentary wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley and New York City. I've been photographing LGBTQ+ weddings and celebrations across the region for years. I follow the story. I don't direct, and I don't manufacture moments. I watch, I anticipate, and I make photographs that feel like memory rather than performance.

The Hudson Valley and Catskills are some of the most welcoming and beautiful places in the country to get married. Couples choose venues like Roxbury Barn & Estate, Onteora Mountain House, Locust Grove, Boscobel, The Basilica in Hudson, and dozens of private properties throughout Columbia, Dutchess, Ulster, and Greene counties — and they deserve a photographer who understands not just the landscape, but the full, unfiltered joy of their particular love story.
